About me
Marcella Taylor is the ParentChild+ Program Manager for Washington State, with over 20 years of experience in early learning, home visiting, and family support. Her professional journey was shaped by her personal one—as a young parent and former ParentChild+ participant. That experience became the foundation of a lifelong commitment to centering children, families, and the home visitors who support them. Marcella’s work is grounded in the belief that systems are strongest when they are built with and guided by those who live within them. She advocates for approaches that honor the lived experiences of both families and home visitors, recognizing them as essential voices in shaping meaningful, healing-centered support. She brings this vision to her leadership roles on the Home Visitor Leadership Team for the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence and as a board member at Atlantic Street Center.
