About me
Heidi Jackson is the Executive Director of The DOVE Project, a domestic violence and sexual assault agency serving Vashon Island, Washington. With deep roots in serving the community and a lifelong commitment to ending relational violence, Heidi brings community-centered leadership to her work supporting survivors, victims and those who support them.
Heidi joined DOVE’s board in 2014 and has served as Executive Director since 2018, helping grow the organization into a comprehensive, trusted community resource offering survivor advocacy, trauma-informed mental health care, school-based prevention education, community outreach, and specialized support for LGBTQ+ and Latino communities. A graduate of Seattle Pacific University who lives on Vashon Island, Heidi is honored to share DOVE’s community-rooted approach with fellow prevention, advocacy, and education leaders.
