About me

“I am from a rural community in Grant County that continues to face many challenges and barriers. I grew up in a household where three languages are spoken. My family is Mixtecos and although we have lived on this side of the border, we continue to carry our culture with us. I serve as an advocate in the community I am from and I bring my experience to the table.”
